Summary:
Chisato was an orphan who was taken in by the Japanese Defense Association when she was a young girl. There, she with many other orphaned girls, would be trained as the governments private hitman. These girls would be used as the soldiers to stop Japan's internal/external terrorists attacks and make it seem as a country of peace. For her part, Chisato was excellent at the job except for one very big thing: She had a congenital heart disease that weakened her.

Mika, her eventual guardian, and a man from something called the Alan Institute would see this in her. The Alan Institute found and gifted children who were considered geniuses/particularly talented in their fields but underfunded the means to do what they needed. In Chisato's case, they deemed that she had the talent to kill - And that her responsibility to the world should be in killing as needed. An arrangement between the Alan Institute and Mika was made so she'd be given an artificial heart that would allow her to live under the conditions that she make use of her talent.

These conditions were things that Chisato was never told. When she has heart surgery and meets the man who gifted her the heart, he calls himself a savior when she asked who he was. She responded with then, like him, she too would become a savior - After this day, Chisato dedicated her life to helping people and even on jobs refused to take any lethal action.

Eventually considered too willful and troublesome, Chisato would start working independently from the DA. She and Mika would open a secondary base of operations, Cafe LycoReco, where she lived a day-to-day life helping the local neighborhood while doing her job as Lycoris when called. While she would always be aware that her life had a sentence - even this heart wouldn't last longer than making it to eighteen- she has and lived each day to the fullest, choosing her own path than the one that the DA and Alan Institute thrust onto her.



Powers/abilities:

MOVEMENT PREDICTION: Like all Alan Children, Chisato has a talent that far exceeds a normal human and can even be considered supernatural in nature. While it's somewhat unclear the exact scale of her ability - Chisato is capable of predicting the firing of a bullet even at a point-blank range to avoid it. She's able to use the opponent movement of muscles, clothes, and attention to be able to read exactly when and where they're going to shoot and skillfully avoid it. It doesn't matter how many shots they take, she can usually walk through them.

There are some caveats here. This appears to be entirely visual - If someone knows her talent all they need to do is turn off the lights for her to be taken off guard. Her other senses are considered normal. It also seems to be most useful for projectiles, so while she can still read movement incredibly well her hand-to-hand combat is a little lesser. It also should be noted, that the more precise someone is as shooter the better she is. If they're more untrained/erratic, she's less likely to be able to predict the movement.

ATHLETICISM: Chisato is considered the top Lycoris for a reason - And it's not just her movement prediction skill. She's a fully capable fighter with high levels of strength, stamina, agility, and reaction times. There are no other Lycoris who can match her skill in this regard and it's shown that in the other top Lycoris can barely keep up with her when doing a physical examination.

The flipside here is that, of course, she's still human. She's also a human who relies on a mechanical heart than can falter. It's said that it needs to be charged to keep going and that two months is how long a recharge lasts. If damaged, or the closer to that recharge time, the less endurance she has.

COMBAT: As a Lycoris, Chisato has spent her entire life training to take out people. While she has and continues to choose non-lethal methods, Chisato is fully capable of killing someone if she wanted to. This could be through hand-to-hand combat or the more expected shooting of a gun. She's excellent in both forms, although it's said that her aim is a little less precise than that of Takina's (perhaps, because she knows the more precise you are the easier you are to read).

FIRST AID: As she's committed to not killing anyone, Chisato has often dedicated her time after taking down terrorists to giving them first aid. If there's someone in need of attendance, she'll stop whatever she's doing to care for them. She's seen to know how to steralize wounds, stitch them, and slow bleeding as necessary at a minimum.

MULTILINGUAL: Lycoris are mostly hitman, but they can also act as spies. Because of this, they're taught many other languages to be able to fit in somewhere. Chisato has also learned some simply to help people - While there's not an exhaustive list she has shown to be conversational in English, French, and German.

Inventory: She was out relaxing on a beach in Hawaii! So her clothes. That said, she still probably had a pistol holstered as usual. The pistol would have had one round of non-lethal ammo (it's not said precisely what kind it is - Mika made especially for her to use and they look vaguely likely pepper spray projectiles).

Sentimental item: Mika's cane. Mika was originally her commanding officer within Lycoris and helped orchestrate for her heart surgery. While he claims it was initially done to be a good commander, he would come to raise Chisato as his daughter. While she holds no specific sentimentality to the cane itself, Mika is one of the people she's closest to and someone who allowed her to choose her own future.

Gemstone: Her gemstone is lycoris red with hints of light purple, it's cut into the shape of an owl.
